- Manufacturer's Agent - Manufacturer's agents represent manufacturers in the processing and redemption of coupons. A contract should be completed with your manufacturer's agent 60 days prior to your planned coupon drop.
- Distribution Source - If you decide to distribute your coupons through a third-party source, be sure to sign a contract with them well in advance. Around 60 days prior to your coupon drop is the norm.
- Field Communication - To ensure your retail customers have sufficient product in stock to satisfy the increased consumer demand, notify your field sales force and retail buyer-merchandisers at least 30 days in advance of the planned drop.
After going through all of the internal preparation and coupon creation, you're ready to make your coupon promotion happen. These are the functional parties to consider.
