implementation_distribution_lscAfter going through all of the internal preparation and coupon creation, you're ready to make your coupon promotion happen. These are the functional parties to consider.

  • Manufacturer's Agent - Manufacturer's agents represent manufacturers in the processing and redemption of coupons. A contract should be completed with your manufacturer's agent 60 days prior to your planned coupon drop.
  • Distribution Source - If you decide to distribute your coupons through a third-party source, be sure to sign a contract with them well in advance. Around 60 days prior to your coupon drop is the norm.
  • Field Communication - To ensure your retail customers have sufficient product in stock to satisfy the increased consumer demand, notify your field sales force and retail buyer-merchandisers at least 30 days in advance of the planned drop.
